Ivan the Dog needs a home
Ivan is an almost perfect dog. He loves dogs, and people. I am not sure how he is with cats. He loves to play with his toys, and chew on bones. He is excellent in his kennel. He doesn't make a sound when he's in there. In fact, he goes in his kennel quite often and will nap, be alone with his toys or bones, or just hang out every now and again. He will sleep in there at night if you want him to, but he will also sleep in dog beds or in the bed with you too if you let him. He is potty trained. We haven't had any accidents in the house. He walks well on a leash. He is great in the car. He doesn't bark very often. He has no food aggression or guarding issues. He lets my small dog eat his food while he is eating or chew on a bone with him. He loves attention. He would like to be around you. He will follow you and just hang out in the same room that you are in. He plays very well with the other dogs in the house. He's very laid back in mellow. Ivan is great in public and in crowds of people. He will chew a leash though if it gets in his way and he is bored standing there while you are talking to people. His only bad habit is that he "jumps up" on people. And when I say that, its more of a gentle climb to get closer to you and for you to pet him. He will also put his paws on the counter every now and again to see if he can get lucky in the food or treasure department. He knows how to sit and will come when called most of the time.
Ivan would be a great companion for any person or family. He would do well being an only dog or with other dogs. He's just a fantastic dog.
Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Neuter, prepaid microchip, 4DX (heartworm/tick disease testing) dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $425.00
